It's a Hell of a Ride

Hi guise,

I started this blog upon discovering Sherry's blog. Sherry is my friend from uni years. It was back in 2008, I believe. I used to post random me-things with loads of personal photos.

Looking back, I've seen a lot of changes here in my blog. For one, the followers had definitely increased over the years and I'm honestly thankful because it means that I'm not really talking to myself here. I've seen some regular commenter here and don't ever think I haven't noticed you guys. I appreciate your support. It means the world to me. But with that being said, I also miss new commenter. I hardly see one these days. I guess people don't read blog that much any more. Or maybe I'm just falling behind with the popularity bandwagon.

I'm thinking about doing some renovation for my blog. Just tweaking a few here and there. Not too much change I hope. I think the biggest change I plan to do is to change my comic template. I haven't change my template for like forever. So I don't know how it's gonna affect you guise. To be honest, I've grown so attached to the old template. It's like an identity.

I remember my first comic here at Vespa Buruk. It's hand drawn and it was very different from my drawing style at that time.

Remember this one? I think this was my first official webcomic. Perintis style melukis sekarang. Made with magic marker.

This retained some of my original style. This particular draft was ruined by flood water. So sad..

After that, was the era of graphic tablet. When I first got my hand on the bamboo fun tablet, I admit, it took me quite a while to get a hang of it but it was an awesome experience.

I experimented a lot back then. I was struggling with the lines and how much different it makes when you are drawing with a graphic tablet. I did black and white and also coloured comic..

Oh yes, it was glorious.. I even manage to do a short animation.. 

And finally in 2012, I fix my template to what I had been using for the last two years..

The earlier version still have title on it..

I had fun..But then again, through time, change is inevitable.

Now do you see my problem? I don't know how to change the final render. Jadi kelabu asap..

I'm choosing between these two. truthfully, my favorite would be the old one since I've grown so used to it. Plus, the dimension and resolution work just fine with me. Alas, change is to be made..

Sorry for this nostalgic entry. I think it's just obligatory to do once for it had been almost 7 years after its inception. I'm lost for word now. Thanks for all the attention you've so kindly given to me over the years..

p/s: thinking of going to Paint Tool Sai but I think i would change my style greatly. Dunno.. Any advice?
